FOXO4-DRI (Forkhead Box O4-D-Retro-Inverso) is a senolytic peptide designed to selectively destroy senescent “zombie” cells . It works by disrupting the FOXO4-p53 protein interaction, forcing dysfunctional cells to undergo apoptosis (programmed cell death) while leaving healthy tissue intact.
